ABOUT THE ROLE

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager to take the next step in their career with the Jay Jays family based in our CANBERRA DFO store in Fyshwick, ACT. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing not just one, but three stores, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver a memorable and exceptional experience for our Jay Jays customers.

This is a full-time position and will require availability over alternating weekends, late-night trading hours, and occasional public holidays.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• Lead and inspire your team to drive sales, meet targets, and achieve KPIs across all three stores.
• Develop, train, and succession plan your team to boost productivity and enhance leadership within your stores.
• Foster a safe, positive working environment for your team and customers.
• Oversee daily stock management to minimize loss and maximize sales.
• Implement visual merchandising strategies and promotional changes across all locations.
• Manage team rosters in line with each store’s trading profile to ensure optimal coverage and performance.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Proven experience in managing and developing a team, ideally in a multi-site retail environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and inspire a team to reach their full potential.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating a unique shopping experience.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and KPIs while managing costs such as wage spend and stock loss.
• Solid experience in visual merchandising and executing from a brief.
