A fantastic 12-month, fixed-term opportunity has become available for a Capability Coordinator to join our Capability team at Myer Group. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of Myer Group’s capability and compliance programs, working closely with stakeholders across the business. You’ll thrive if you’re tech‑savvy, highly organised, detail‑oriented and enjoy coordinating multiple moving pieces to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
This role is ideal for a graduate or early‑career professional who has studied Human Resources, Psychology or a related discipline and is passionate about learning, development and creating great employee experiences.

About the role
As Capability Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the smooth planning, coordination and reporting of Myer Group’s learning and compliance initiatives. Your key accountabilities will include:
Planning, scheduling and coordinating capability and compliance programs, including facilitators, resources and logistics
Maintaining program schedules, calendars and diaries to ensure initiatives are delivered on time
Partnering with internal stakeholders and co‑facilitators to support delivery of the Capability plan
Communicating program timelines and requirements to stakeholders including HR, Retail Operations, Merchandise, stores and external providers
Coordinating system set‑up and administration within HR systems for learning and compliance activities
Tracking program progress and providing clear, regular reporting to key stakeholders
Producing and maintaining accurate compliance training completion reports
Identifying opportunities to improve processes through digital tools and smarter ways of working
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring strong organisation skills, curiosity and a collaborative mindset. You’ll also demonstrate:
1–2 years’ experience in a People & Culture coordinator role (desirable but not essential)
A genuine passion for people, learning and employee development
High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Confidence managing multiple inboxes and stakeholder requests
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and comfort working with HR or learning systems
