Myer Group is seeking two Profit Protection Analytical Officers to support the identification, analysis and mitigation of financial loss across our stores and online operations. Working as part of the Group Loss Control team, you will use data, intelligence and fraud management tools to identify emerging risks, investigate suspicious activity, support operational decision making and contribute to initiatives that reduce financial loss across the business.
About the Role:
Analyse fraud, shrinkage and financial loss trends across stores and online channels
Review and investigate suspicious transactions, customer activity and emerging fraud patterns
Produce reports, dashboards and insights to support operational and strategic decision making
Assist with the preparation of evidence packages and investigative briefs
Monitor fraud detection platforms and recommend improvements to fraud rules and controls
Support investigations relating to organised retail crime, internal theft and online fraud
Partner with Customer Service, Online, Store Operations and Investigations teams to resolve issues and mitigate risk
Assist with the delivery of Loss Control initiatives and projects across stores and online channels.
About You:
Well-developed technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint), with the ability to effectively source, analyse and manage information using online platforms and internet-based research tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast paced, high volume environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with customers and internal team members
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends, investigate anomalies and translate data into actionable insights
Self-starter possessing the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
Strong attention to detail and high concern for data accuracy.
An interest in fraud prevention, investigations, retail loss, risk management or data analytics would be highly regarded.
